Habitat for Humanity of Greater Middletown, NY is seeking committed, giving, and talented people to join our Board. If you are a banker, realtor, builder, community leader, hard-worker, compassionate individual... whatever experience you can bring to our organization would be so greatly appreciated.

A dedication service for our new home at 6 Sterling Street will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 12 Noon.  All are invited.  Light refreshments will be served. 

The Annual Fall Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, October 28, 2010. Save the date.  

HFH of Greater Middletown has purchased a home at #6 Sterling Street in the City of Middletown. The one hundred year old home has been renovated and expected ccompletion is the end of summer.  Finish plumbing, heating, electric, and flooring is needed along with landscaping.  Other small items also need to be completed.  CALL 469-9191 IF YOU WISH TO VOLUNTEER IN THE HOME BUILDING. 

Two city builing lots have been donated so HFH of Greater Middletown will be busy for the next few years.

You can contribute to HFH of Greater Middletown through the HFH International's Cars for Homes. All types of vehicles are accepted, even boats, motor homes, farm and construction equipment. Here what to do: Call 1-877-277-HFHI or go to www.habitat.org or carsforhomes@habitat.org Provide information and answer a few questions about your vehicle. HFHI will help you process the title and make arrangements to pick up your vehicle. If cost of processing or towing exceeds auction value, the car cannot be accepted. Donors will receive an acknowledgement letter for tax deduction purposes.
